• Polar Bear Ornament Crochet Pattern

Day 8 of the 12 days of Crochet Christmas is a polar bear ornament crochet pattern. He’s all cosy with his little scarf and the gold bell gives him a fun festive touch. The scarf is worked off a round of surface slip stitches which are added at the end. I find it helpful to use pins to mark out where I want my slip stitches to go especially because it’s crocheted in a spiral so there’s no obvious beginning or end. • Wreath Ornament Crochet Pattern

Day 7 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas is an adorable wreath ornament crochet pattern. I love how simple this little wreath is. It works up quickly and holds it’s shape without needing to crochet around a ring. Feel free to have fun with the embellishments and make it your own. Pieces are worked in a continuous spiral without joining unless otherwise specified. Mark the first stitch of each round with a removable stitch marker. The bow is made the same way…

  • Poinsettia Ornament Crochet Pattern

Day 6 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas is a pretty poinsettia ornament crochet pattern. Poinsettias always look so festive with their red and green foliage. I tried to go for a more simplified version here with just the two layers and I love that it kind of looks like a star. I’ve used the picot single crochet stitch for the centre of the red leaves with the rest of the leaves being worked in a combination of simple stitches. The instructions are a little bit wordy but once you do the first leaf the rest should be easy. MATERIALS (Contains Affiliate Links) ABBREVIATIONS SPECIAL STITCHES NOTES The pattern…

  • Gift Box Ornament Crochet Pattern

Day 5 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas is a little gift box crochet pattern. Not gonna lie, I’m a little obsessed with this one. I love all things miniature and it looks so sweet in the tree plus you can fill it with goodies. The body of the box is worked in alternating rounds of single crochet spike stitch and single crochet stitches which gives it such a wonderful texture. I’ve also used a technique to create a sharper angle for the base and lid but if this is too tricky, feel free to use just the back loops only. • Gingerbread Ornament Crochet Pattern

Day 4 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas is this super cute gingerbread ornament crochet pattern. This was actually the first ornament that I made as I thought it would be the easiest but as with most simple things, it was a bit of a struggle to get him just how I wanted. I’m glad I persisted though as I think he turned out so cute. He might even be my favourite from the whole collection (shhh don’t tell the others). The white band is created with surface slip stitching and I tried something slightly different for the bow but overall he works up quickly. MATERIALS (Contains Affiliate Links)…
