• Lollipop Ornament Crochet Pattern

Day 2 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas is a sweet lollipop ornament crochet pattern. This is actually one that didn’t quite make the cut last year so I decided to rework it for this years event and I love it so much more now. It works up really quickly but does require some knowledge of surface slip stitching to get the cool swirl effect. I made mine single sided (because I’m lazy haha) but you could easily repeat the swirl on the backside too. I made some starch to stiffen the lollipop stick and make it more robust. It was my first time trying it and I’m really…

  • Robin Ornament Crochet Pattern

Happy December 1st! I’m so excited to be bringing back the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas for another year and we’re kicking things off with this cute little robin ornament crochet pattern. Fun fact: Robins became associated with Christmas back in the times of Victorian Britain where postmen were nicknamed ‘robins’ because of their red-breasted uniforms. Robins eventually cornered the Christmas market appearing on greeting cards and wrapping paper. Pieces are worked in a continuous spiral starting…

  • Christmas Wreath Earring Crochet Pattern

Is anyone else jumping straight into Christmas crochet now that Halloween is over? I’ve been sitting on this wreath earring crochet pattern since last year and I’m so excited to finally share it. These little earrings are such a quick and satisfying make. You will need some jewellery making supplies (though if you’re a bit of a craft hoarder like me then you’ll likely have everything you need on hand) but once you have those, you’ll be able to whip up a bunch in no time. How sweet would these be for end of year teacher gifts, stocking stuffers and Christmas markets. MATERIALS (Contains Affiliate Links) ABBREVIATIONS NOTES The pattern…

  • Frankie Wall Hanging Crochet Pattern

Here’s my last planned Halloween pattern for the year! This Frankie wall hanging pattern is super quick, easy and customisable. Change up his expression, randomise the lengths of his hair and add as many scars as you’d like. Have fun with it! He’s a monster so he’s allowed to look a little bit crazy right? I used a combination of regular single crochet and spike single crochet for the first row of the hair which basically means that you’ll be working some single crochet stitches into the rows below your current row. I also added some surface slip stitches to give some definition to his face. The neck bolts are…
