It’s Day 10 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas!

If you’re crocheting along and haven’t done so already, you’ll want to whip up an easy crochet gift tag to attach your applique to.

About the Pattern

This crochet holly applique pattern is worked in three separate pieces – the two leaves and the berry cluster.

The leaves are worked around a foundation chain using a combination of different stitches.

I assembled this applique directly onto my piece so I could get my desired leaf and berry placement.

Finishing

Note: I like to assemble this one on the piece that I’m attaching it to.

  • Glue the two holly leaves in place so that they overlap slightly at the top with some space between the bottom of the leaves.
  • Sew or glue the berry cluster to the holly leaves covering where the two leaves meet at the top.
