Mini Crochet Stocking Pattern

This mini crochet stocking is perfect for decorating, gifting and filling with small treats.

Two small crochet Christmas stockings, one red and one green adorned with a gold bell, resting on the palm of a hand.

It’s Day 10 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas!

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to add a mini crochet stocking to the collection.

This little stocking works up quickly and is a simple pattern that’s easily customisable by using different colours, stripes or embellishments.

About the Pattern

This mini crochet stocking pattern is worked from the toe upwards starting with a magic ring.

The toe is worked in joined rounds and the body of the stocking is worked in a continuous spiral which minimises any visible seam.

The heel is worked in a contrasting colour without cutting the main colour so we can easily pick it back up again.

Finished Size

The finished mini stocking measures approximately 3.5″ (9cm) long including the hanging loop. Size may vary depending on tension and materials used.

Gauge

Gauge is not important in this pattern. However, using a different yarn and hook size will change the size of the finished item.

Notes

  • When crocheting the heel do not cut the main colour.
