Crochet Eggnog Ornament Pattern

Toast the season with this quick and easy crochet eggnog ornament – a fun way to bring some cosy cheer to your holiday decor.

A crochet cup of eggnog with a smile sitting on a wood round, surrounded by cinnamon sticks, festive greenery, red berries and a brown paper wrapped gift.

It’s Day 9 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas!

After making my milk & cookies ornament back in 2021, I knew that I wanted to use the pattern to make a sweet little eggnog.

I honestly don’t know why it took me so long because this crochet eggnog turned out so cute and food with faces always make me smile.

About the Pattern

This crochet eggnog pattern is worked in the round, from the bottom up, starting with a magic ring.

The eggnog itself is made up of 2 pieces which are then crocheted together with the embellishments being worked separately and sewn on at the end.

The addition of the face adds personality and extra cute factor.

Gauge

Gauge is not important in this pattern. Use a hook size to match your chosen yarn. Make sure that your stitches are tight enough to prevent stuffing showing through and adjust hook size if necessary.
