Easy Crochet Candy Corn Pattern
Get ready for a sweet and simple project with this crochet candy corn pattern! Make it mini or big, either way it’s perfect for adding a touch of handmade charm to your Fall decor.
This crochet candy corn pattern can be made in 2 different sizes simply by changing the yarn and hook size. I’ll list everything that I used in the materials section below.
The mini size is perfect for keychains and would make a fun Halloween candy alternative.
This crochet candy corn is a quick and easy project that’s great for practicing your amigurumi skills.
We’ll start by crocheting around a chain to create an oval for the base of our candy corn. The rest is just simple increases and decreases with a couple of colour changes.
Add some features to make it extra cute. Embroidery or safety eyes both work here and you can easily adjust the placement for a different look.

Finished Size
The large candy corn measures approximately 4.5″ (11.5cm) tall and the small candy corn measures 2″ (5cm) tall. Size may vary depending on tension and materials used.
Gauge
Gauge is not important in this pattern. Use a hook size to match your chosen yarn. Make sure that your stitches are tight enough to prevent stuffing showing through and adjust hook size if necessary.
Notes
- Pieces are worked in a continuous spiral. Mark the first stitch of each round with a removable stitch marker.

Cut the yarn leaving a tail and pull through last st. Weave the yarn tail through the front loop only of the final round and pull to close. Hide end inside the candy corn.
Finishing
- Using black 4 ply yarn or black embroidery floss, add embroidered features if not using safety eyes and sew a mouth between the eyes. For the mini candy corn, I embroidered the eyes over R6.
- Optional: Using pink yarn, sew cheeks just under and to the side of each eye going over a single st twice.
