Tree Ornament Crochet Pattern
Day 2 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas is this sweet little tree ornament crochet pattern.

It always feels a bit funny hanging a tree on a tree but the great thing about this one is that you can leave off the hanging loop and it’s free standing. It would look pretty sitting on a shelf or mantel.
This tree ornament crochet pattern is really quick and easy with no sewing involved.
I chose to keep my tree simple by just adding a bell with some extra twine but feel free to embellish it however you like. It would also look nice with 2 different coloured layers.

Assembly
- Place the top layer on top of the bottom layer.
- Attach a hanging loop by cutting a length of twine. Fold in half and tie a knot to the length that you would like your hanging loop to be. Thread the folded end onto a yarn needle and bring up through the centre of the bottom layer and again through the centre of the top layer. Embellish as you like (I threaded a small bell onto some extra twine and tied a bow around the hanging loop right at the top of the tree).
