Gift Box Ornament Crochet Pattern
Day 5 of the 12 Days of Crochet Christmas is a little gift box ornament crochet pattern. Not gonna lie, I’m a little obsessed with this one. I love all things miniature and it looks so sweet in the tree plus you can fill it with goodies.
About the Pattern
This gift box ornament crochet pattern is worked in alternating rounds of single crochet spike stitch and single crochet stitches which gives it a fun texture.
I’ve also used a technique to create a sharper angle for the base and lid but if this is too tricky for you, feel free to use just the back loops only.

Finished Size
The finished gift box measures approximately 2″ x 2″ (5cm x 5cm) when using the materials listed.
Notes
- Pieces are worked in a continuous spiral starting with a magic ring unless otherwise specified. Mark the first stitch of each round with a removable stitch marker.
- R6 of the box and R7 of the lid are worked into the back loop and the third loop of the previous single crochet round. This step is optional but helps to create a sharper angle. If you find this too difficult you can just crochet into the back loops only.
